Wanted: The Pink Edit

I’ve never really been into pink, apart from that one pair of embarrassing pink stretchy flares I had when I was about 12. I’m definitely much more of a red girl. But lately, I’ve just really been feeling it. As someone who generally just wears different shades of black and grey, I don’t think I’ll be going for a bright shade of fuschia any time soon but those pale shades of pink with a little tinge of grey are really doing it for me at the moment.

Adidas Haze Coral Gazelles £74.95
For my last birthday I was given a classic pair of Adidas Superstar’s that I can honestly say I’ve worn nearly everyday since, so it’s probably about time I got another pair of shoes. Sticking with the Adidas I have been eyeing up this pair of Gazelle’s, which I particularly love because of the grey detailing. Living in Cornwall (where it constantly rains) I’m not sure how practical the suede will be, but trainers look better when they’re a bit worn in right?

New Look Pink Stripe Shirt £19.99
As someone who loves a stripe and a bit of embroidery, I could not resist this! A super classic striped shirt with nice big turn ups on the sleeves and really cute ‘Merci’ embroidery above the pocket. It’s just so cute! I’ve been wearing mine to work with some jeans to make it a little more casual. But I think that’s the good thing about these kind of shirts, they can be dressed up or down and I like how this one has a slight pyjama vibe to it.

ASOS Fjallraven Classic Kanken in Pastel Pink £65.00
I have been after a good rucksack for ages. Not entirely sure when or where I’d need to carry a load of stuff around as I’ve recently converted to being a small handbag wearer, but it’s one of those things that’s useful to have just incase. Kanken’s are notoriously seen as being for hipsters but I feel like this pink shade makes it a little less hip and a little more girly.

Topshop Oversized Stitchy V Neck Knit £42.00
You’re probably already sick of seeing this jumper everywhere, but every time I’ve seen it on someone I’ve thought ‘Yes, that is amazing!’. I love the chunky knit and the v-neck and even the shade of pink is a little brighter than some of the things on this list but without being too bright. I think it’s already sold out online so I’ll have to keep an eye out in my local store!

Charlotte Tilbury Matte Revolution Lipstick in Pillowtalk £24.00

Not strictly fashion but something I’m desperate to get none the less. This shade from Charlotte Tilbury was originally only available in a lip liner but has recently been brought out as a lipstick exclusively online. It’s a gorgeous nude-y pink that I think would look like a my-lips-but-better situation. I’ve never had a Charlotte Tilbury lipstick before so maybe this is where I’ll start.

Is there anything pink that you’ve been after lately?
